The Joker had no idea how long it was meant to take, but once she’d finished screaming he could only assume it was done. Removing the watch first, he slipped it safely into his pocket before taking the hat from her head and leaving her alone in the bathroom.
He moved quickly down the stairs, unloading a second bullet into the Emrys’ stomach — just to be sure — and finally left the house.
